Look What I Can Do!

Phoebe's been getting to the standing position all by herself. She can stand for close to a minute now and Gwen thinks it's awesome. When Phoebe stands, Gwen rushes over to kiss her on the forehead, which usually knocks Phoebe off balance. Pretty soon she'll be running after her big sis! I tried to post a short video of this, but it wouldn't let me. The picture isn't the greatest, but you get the idea.

10 Things That Make Me Happy

1. I love reading. Growing up, I always had my nose in a book. I especially loved the Hardy Boys series. Joe was hot. Anyway, I've moved on to books of more substance, I guess, and I love hunting for good reads. I am currently reading Places to Look for a Mother by Nicole Stansbury. I'm not sure about it yet. Finding a good book is hard ever since I graduated the 8th grade.


2.Story Writing. I don't have much time for it anymore, but I do hope to write a book one day. 


3. Trees make me happy. I love how beautiful they make the land. I miss all the green from New Jersey, but I'm quite happy that there are some evergreen trees across the street. Makes the view out our window pretty.


4. My family. I probably should have listed this first. I have a great husband who respects me. My kids are sweet, funny, smart, and just plain awesome. I am so blessed.


5. Fiery Habanero Doritos. Mmm...


6. A clean apartment. I notice that I get the most stressed about little things when dirty dishes are piling up and toys and strewn across the living room. I like the peace a clean home brings.


7. Taking pictures. I'm no photographer, but I love capturing special moments on camera. The girls are always doing something that sends me running for the camera. 


8. Searching for healthy recipes. I'm trying to lose this baby weight. It's hard.


9. Comedies. Because who doesn't like to laugh while snuggled up on the couch with your love, sharing skittles. :)


10. Back scratches! Actually, I love back, arms, legs, hands, feet, and the occasional face scratches. Seriously. Logan is sick of it. :p That's just something he is going to have to learn to live with - for eternity. Muahaha.
